Student Mission Trips
Come experience one of the premier short-term missions experiences in the Twin Cities—blending fully customizable ministry with outstanding worship, teaching, and leadership development.
What to Expect
We blend fully customizable ministry experiences with outstanding worship, teaching, and leadership development.
What Does the Ministry Experience Look Like?
"Fully Customizable" is the key! We connect with each youth pastor individually to carefully craft ministry experiences according to what you want your students to experience. Consider what they're good at, where you want them stretched, and how you want to expose them to reaching the hurting and lost.
Do you want more labor/service projects like community gardens and painting houses, or more relational/outreach opportunities like visiting homeless camps and going door to door? Or a mix of both! Your unique ministry plan connects you with our incredible friends and ministry partners across St. Paul and Minneapolis.
Our goals are for ministry efforts to be like a "Turbo Strip" for our partners advancing their mission and the Kingdom, and for your students to see and experience God's transformative work as they step out of their comfort zones!
2026 Theme: "Love Unconditionally!"
We're excited to explore this through morning devotions and evening sessions with inspiring worship and outstanding teaching. We'll focus on how to experience God's love and share it with those around us. The Gospel will be clearly presented and challenges that can be taken back into real life will give every opportunity for students to grow and have their lives transformed.
Leadership Development
Along with built-in times for you to lead and shepherd your groups (morning devos & evening sharing times), you know that the bulk of effective ministry happens in the gaps. Whether it's meals around a table, van rides to and from ministry sites, or those "Can I talk to you about something" conversations, this trip creates plenty of "gaps" for life-on-life ministry with your students.
Accommodations
Bring your twin-sized (only) air mattresses or cots and bedding for this classic missions experience! Groups will be given classrooms in separate boys/girls areas. Locker rooms with showers are on site and the water should be hot!

Student Trip FAQ
What are the showering and sleeping accommodations?
Bring your twin-sized (only) air mattresses or cots and bedding for this classic missions experience! Groups will be given classrooms in separate boys/girls areas. Locker rooms with showers are on site and the water should be hot!
We have access to all 4 locker rooms in the building. Even though most have shower stalls, we have two policies: (1) adult leaders shower at different times or in different locker rooms than students, and (2) everyone wears swimsuits in locker rooms with more open showers. We'll have clotheslines set up to hang swimsuits and wet towels.
What is the age requirement for the trip?
This trip is for Middle School and up. We typically assume students have completed 6th grade, but we leave it to the discretion of the Youth Pastor on who they bring in their teams.
How does food work?
Enhance Ministries provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner for all attending, except on the Team Free Day.
How are food allergies or food restrictions handled?
Our caterers do a wonderful job providing for as many food allergies as they can. We have you note these on the registration form and then will follow up with each individual with listed allergies to see if (a) you'll need us to provide food according to your issue (TBD additional cost), or (b) you'll plan to bring your own food to supplement the menu.
What about medical emergencies?
There is no nurse on staff. All medications, medical issues, and emergencies need to be handled by the church groups. Please be sure to let our staff know of any emergency as soon as possible so we can support.
Where will we be serving?
Some of our ministry partners include:
- GodTown
- Good in the Hood
- Salvation Army
- CHAP Thrift Store
- Hearts & Hammers
- Hospitality House
- New Life Church
- Payne Reliever Church
- Source MN
- Equip GP
- And more!
How are ministry assignments made and when will we know?
On your registration form you'll be asked for the types of ministries you'd like to experience — select all that apply! Assigning groups to ministry sites is a giant puzzle, so we do our best to align everyone according to their preferences.
Ministry site assignments are completed and sent out at least 14 days in advance. The sooner your church registers, the easier it is to get what you're requesting!
How does transportation work?
All groups are responsible for getting themselves to and from the trip and to and from each ministry site each day. Enhance Ministries does not provide any transportation.
How many leaders should we bring?
We ask that groups bring a minimum ratio of 1 leader for every 10 students. If you have both genders in your group, please bring an appropriate mix of male and female leaders. All leaders should have been vetted by your church, including having a background check done.
Ready to Register Your Group?
Lock in your spot with the $1,000 group registration deposit and we'll walk you through the rest. Confirmation will be emailed once your deposit is received.
Register Your GroupFree Coaching for Participating Pastors
When a pastor registers their church for a Student Mission Trip or Win Your Jerusalem experience, we come alongside them in a meaningful way.
Participating pastors receive free, once-a-month coaching sessions designed to encourage, equip, and support them as they lead. While conversation may naturally turn to the upcoming missions experience, the overall emphasis of this time will be customized to focus on the key areas of needed growth personally, in marriage/family and/or in leadership.
