Enhance Ministries Family Mission offers a unique experience for families and church groups. We blend missions activities, quality teaching for all ages, and an environment that fosters genuinely authentic community. Our goal is for individuals, families, and churches to be strengthened as they experience God’s work in and through them.
Ministry
We’re thrilled to connect you with our ministry partners across St. Paul and Minneapolis, who are all doing amazing Kingdom work year-round! Church groups and families will serve in diverse ministries, and we’ll match you with partners based on your ministry preferences. Our goal is for you to see and experience God’s transformative work as you step out of your comfort zone for His Kingdom.

Church Classrooms
Bring your twin sized air mattresses and bedding for this classic missions experience! Space is limited so the first churches/families to register will be given the space until we are full. Church groups will be given rooms (dads/sons & moms/daughters) where you can either split parents in one room, kids in the other, or mixed.
Camping
Have a camper or tent?! We will section off our back parking lot and green space for you to set up camp. This will be a great option for having your own space while still enjoying the community of others on the trip!
Hotel
One of the greatest values of this trip will be the relationships that are built within the other families on the trip, especially those from the same churches. Whether a hotel is personally preferred or to ensure that all the families from your church can be together our hotel option will be great. Note that if space at the church fills up, groups that want to be together would need to select this option.
Host Families
Especially for those who register as individual families this will be a great option! Being hosted by a family from our host ministry, New Life, will create the opportunity for lasting relationships to form. A bed more comfortable than an air mattress can’t hurt either!!
Stay At Home
This option is for those in the Twin Cities area who can/choose to stay at your own homes.

FAQ
What is considered a church ‘group?’
If you have one other family from your church coming with you we would consider that a church group! Don’t stop at one though!!
How does food work?
Breakfast
At the church for those staying at the church and camping area
Hotel lobby for those in the hotel
With host families for those in that category
Home for those sleeping at their own homes
Lunch
Cooler lunches packed at the church in the morning and taken with you to the ministry sites
Church groups will need to bring coolers and as individually registered families are clustered together in ministry teams 1-2 will be asked to bring coolers and ice packs
Dinner
All will eat at church Sunday-Thursday. Friday is the free day and families will be on their own for dinner that night
How are food allergies or food restrictions handled?
Our caterers do a wonderful job at providing for as many food allergies as they can. We have you note these on the registration form and then will follow up with each family with listed allergies to see if A. you will need us to provide food according to your issue(TBD additional cost), or B. you will plan to bring your own food to supplement the menu.

Ministry Assignments
On your registration form you will be asked for the types of ministries you would like to experience. Select all that apply! As you can assume, assigning groups to the sites is a giant puzzle so we do our best to align everyone according to their preferences
When do you know
We will have the ministry site assignments completed and sent out at least 14 days in advance. The sooner you/your church registers the better and easier it is to get what you’re requesting!
What are the Camping Guidelines?
Only Portable Fire Pits Allowed
Must Bring Your Own Firewood
What is the age requirement?
We ask that all children be 1st grade completed and older.
If you’d like to bring younger kids, please reach out and set up a conversation to explore the feasibility of bringing your younger child(ren)
What about medical emergencies?
There is no nurse on staff. All medications, medical issues and emergencies need to be handled by the families/church groups. Please be sure to let our staff know of any emergency asap so we can support

Are there other dates and/or locations?
At this point we are only offering Enhance Ministries Family Mission Trips one week a summer in the Twin Cities. If you would like us to explore adding additional weeks or locations please let us know!
